It's time for basketball season and this year im playing jv. Right now we're 0-1 but 2maro we play GAC. We hope to when this game because we need the win. So i can't wait to 2maro so we can beat GAC.

time for the basketball season and we won or first game[varsity]but I'm going to be playing JV and we had tryouts yesterday. I believe that this year is going to be a fun interesting season with many of the remaining players. Well cant wait to go to practice today

powder puff game

wednesday was they day for the powder puff game. The seniors won 19 to 0 and the game was very interesting. The girls had fun and showed good sportsmen ship. Next year class of 2011 taking it all over for 2009 and 2010 so be ready!!!

We Beat Avondale!!!

Many already knew we were goinging to beat them but some thought otherwise. It was there homecoming and they were very pumped coming full speed on every play. This is what woke us up letting us know Avondale not joking around even though they haven't won a game yet! But to me Avondale gave it there all and that's all that counts to me!

JV finally play!!!

Today we play but the funny thing is that I don't remember the teams name. I think today's game is going to be played in rain so bring your rain jackets and umbrellas so u don't get wet. The game is suppose to be a good game because I heard that the team we play is a good team so I can't wait to play. Well it's 2nd period now and we got a while for the so see you there.

Homecoming game!!!

The game was long and fun. We had Crosskeys blown after the first play. At half time it was either 55 or 56 to 0 by half time and the score remained that way ever since then. There's a lot of things that could be said but I am going to keep it short because the only thing that you need to know is that everyone had fun and got playing time

Dang we had them the first have but we just couldn't finish the game. The game can be described as fast, hard, tough, and many other ways. We had many injuries which also affected us during the game. I know today we are going to have a long hard practice but it's going to be worth it especially the offense of line. They had Trumon getting pegged all night which is why we couldn't score. Well we have Cross Keys this Friday also homecoming so come out and support us. The win is coming also. JV plays Thursday against Westminister also.

It's Almost That Day!!!

Today is Thursday 9/18/08 and tomorrow (9/19/08) is the Big Game! We opening the gate for the fans and the Decatur High Spirit for the game. The opening game is against Hilgrove High. Te game is going to be interesting and CRUNK! The DOGPOUND is going to get the game hyper and fun. Hope to see you Decatur fans there ready to cheer us on and injoy the show. Decatur vs. Riverwood (Jv Game)

bout time we won lol but we should have had more points. Everybody was playing their positions right which helped us get our win. Thanks to D.J.'s run and some of our Varsity players that helped us out so the line wouldn't get tired; Howard, Adam, and Daniel which gave us our 6 points. But to me I think the defense is what won our game. Our line was getting in their backfield making tackles, our D-Backs shut down anything that got pass them, and our Safety Isiak was letting any deep passes get pass him. He had an interception and I had two. Shane patted some down from their receviers. Next comes Druid Hills jv team so it's time to unleash dem dawgs out again!!!

The Dawgs vs. The Devils

[Varsity game]WOW!!! We punished the Devils for talking all that junk about us. For some strange reason they thought they was better than us but HEY! We proved our point Friday with the score ending 27-0. We had did many good things during the game staying ahead of them. This is how we should play because this is who we are. Henry County here we come!

JV Football game 8/28/08

Well the game was a great game until the second have. We were hanging with Stephenson Jaguars the first half with the starting kickoff that Shaquile Terrell ran back 40 yards. Even though that drive did not go as good on offense, our defense came on and Stephenson down with an interception that I got in 4th down. Our O-line gave great blocking which helped our key running backs(D.J., Kentrell, Rodrick, and sometimes me) fine the holes to run through.
The second have we became tired that Stephenson started crushing us with their running game. Even though we only had about 22 people there was one thing that we all promise each other which was that we will NEVER GIVE UP so we all hung in there TOGETHER.
